G2F B #11

Squat : 115kg x7

Yates row : 85kg x6

Pullups : 6

No video of pullups because the memory card was full. After 2 days of moving rubbish, sand and furniture I was pretty sore when I started. So I'm happy, especially with the squat (tho form was a bit sloppy).

1 week old.. and then some

I had the lighting gear set up to take Nate's 1 week old photo
(something we've done for the older two too). He didn't much like the
flash, so I didn't have much of a chance to get what I wanted.

I did, however, get more than enough opportunity to grab photos of a
couple of other posers. Guess it's my fault for chasing them with a
camera for their entire lives :-)

Rdio

So, rdio.com is now available in Aus, and my first impression is: wow. It's pretty awesome. This explains it better than I can:

I'm very, very tempted to start paying once my free 7 day trial is done. Here's why:

  • for the cost of 6 CD/year, I have access to (essentially) all the music in the world
  • the Android and iOS apps with local caching make it actually practical, given that data (esp mobile) is nowhere near as cheap here as in the US
  • I already use my iPad as the source in my 'real' audio setup, so it just fits with no hassle

I have some doubts though:

  • if I'm short on funds one month, then I have no music. I still kinda like buying CDs, even though they sit on a shelf after I've ripped them
  • audio quality certainly won't match FLAC (although I mostly listen to LAME V2, which it may be close to)
  • with so many options, how will I ever choose something to listen to???
